k 1 K1 actually stands for "Kill Your Neighbor Part 1". The song sounds terrible until you hear it played loud in a wood framed appartment house. The rolling TB303 bassline and surrounding TR606 kick drum roll are perfectly matched to the harmonics of the house in which it was produced. All of this designed to drive a certain obnoxious neighbor insane (and it did). Furniture would rattle, window frames creak, plates and shelves would jingle and all at a very low apparent volume with K1. The lesson to be learned? Never piss off the bored.
